Episode 4 "Pot O' Gold" A rival candidate, Burt Hummel, enters the Congressional race against Sue; New Directions suffers more defections, and a new foreign-exchange student from Ireland namedRory Flanagan (played by one of The Glee Project winners, Damian McGinty) tries to fit in at McKinley.-
Episode 3 "Asian F" - Mike's future in New Directions is challenged after his parents ask him to drop out because he received an A- (the Asian F) on an exam. In other news, the auditions are heating up for the musical, West Side Story, and Will wonders why Emma doesn't want him to meet her parents who are in town visiting.
Episode 2 "I Am Unicorn" - New Directions faces a shake up when Shelby Corcoran (special guest star Idina Menzel) comes to McKinley High and Rachel has to deal with the return of her biological mother. Meanwhile, Kurt starts his run for class president with the special help of Brittany.
Episode 1 "The Purple Piano Project" - The third season kicks off with Will assigning the glee clubbers a new project which will help them get back on track after losing at nationals last year. Sue sets off a new project as well: running for office in a congressional campaign with a focus on getting arts out of schools.
